(Roughly) $60.00, down at "The Boathouse", beachside cafe.

One of my best friends from high school (Tom) was back in town for a few days, we try to get together whenever the opportunity arises; Less frequently than either of us might like, and this time, my little brother wanted to tag along.

I was more than happy to spring for lunch; Yet another bargain, considering the many stories that flew around the table.

My brother is nearly five years younger than Tom and I; And I'm so bloody self centered, I'm like....."OK, I guess you might remember my friend from high school, but a squid like you certainly doesn't have the kinds of memories that I have........ And any stories of misadventure that don't include me couldn't possibly be all that noteworthy; But if you wanna' tag along, feel free, lil' bro."

There was barely even bread and water on the table, before it began......
My brother: "Hey Tom, remember that time you picked me up in front of my junior high school, in that 400 cubic inch Trans Am of yours, and we blasted down south to the fairgrounds for the gun show, and we.......?"

A good time was had by all; Back then, and today.:D

Bought a cheap rebranded mouse for 10 bucks since my old work mouse(3yrs) finally gave up on me. Its nice for the price. I like the rubber material, 4 backlit(different dpi), 7 buttons and have a good size.

My last purchase... a safe. Not just ANY safe, mind you: a BIG HONKIN' SAFE. Almost 6 feet tall, 3 feet wide, 2 feet deep and 865 pounds empty. I have a place in the garage cleared for it because there is no way I trust the floor joists in this house to hold that kind of concentrated weight without buckling. But we have... stuff everywhere in this house, and I want it all concentrated in one place. So, yeah. A safe.

Might want to reinforce the foundations :D

The garage should be okay, because there's no crawl space under the concrete slab... plus it's a straight shot into the garage from the street. But the builder of these homes here cut so many corners (I won't go into that drama) that I simply don't trust the foundation to support that weight. So... garage it is :)

Builders cutting corners.. hmm, that does sound familiar. But yes, your safe is safe on a solid concrete slab.

Something like that ;)

EDIT: Instead of consecutive posts, here's something I just got... Blueant Pump Zone Bluetooth Headphones. I've been looking for a replacement for my Jabra Revo Wireless headset, which is a phenomenal set but I've about worn them out! I've already had the ear pads replaced, and now the power switch is getting wonky. And (of course) the Revo Wireless has been discontinued.

But I want touch controls, not buttons. And the Blueants are amazing. The bass is astonishing, it's rated at 30 HOURS of talk/play time, and the overall sound is amazing. Very comfortable! My only gripe is that their website is garbage and the Android app is crap. Neither of which are necessary.
