WOW... talk about cosmic coincidence! I pre-ordered Navdy back in January 2015 when it was still vaporware. I've followed its development and progress for a year and a half, and had expected delivery back this past June. Well, today I emailed Navdy and inquired about the status. I was told that my unit had already been shipped and was enroute to me. I replied back, asking for a tracking number. Not a half hour later (I kid you not), FedEx pulls up with my Navdy!

I so look forward to putting this baby through its paces!

For those not familiar with it, it's essentially an interactive heads-up display for your vehicle. It connects via the OBDII port... so not only can you interact with your phone using hand and voice gestures, but it also monitors your vehicle in real time. Anyway, I'm thrilled to have it!

:D:D:D

Awesome, definitely let us know how it works, I've looked at a couple of those and have waited for them (and android car) to mature a bit. Then I plan on upgrading the turbo KIA.

I expect a full review with it's own thread. :D :D :D

I've also looked at these, but never pulled the trigger, as it were.

Currently, Navdy's website is NOT taking any more orders while they fill the pre-orders. I can tell you this: if this thing works half as well as it's packaged, it'll be spectacular. They thought of absolutely everything... nothing left to chance or wonder. From the manuals to the app (still in private testing) to the four levels of gadgetry stacked in the box, I can't think of anything that hasn't been addressed. Anyway, as torturous as it is, I'm going to wait until morning (when it's cooler) to actually install it. You have my assurance that I'll give you a great review!

:)

^--- Damn you posting your delicious food. Have to grab a mid-afternoon snack now!

So my lil sis asked me this morning if she can borrow my laptop because of some school work. I can't afford to lend her my laptop for a few days so I grabbed her to a mall and bought her this bad boy. It retails around 700$ in-store but only 599 on ASUS online shop but she needs it right now.

I think its a little over kill since she only gonna use it for notepad. I'm laughing gloriously at my workstation right now.

I bought an Aegirine. (Norse God of the sea!) / Acmite crystal because my friend was worried I was going for get killed / incinerated in the insane work environment I work in! :D

I was going to be a jerk and laugh at him and say "so if I toss this into a catalyst cracker it will prevent / bar all chemicals from reaching it I like a 100 meter radius? :D

Lol but I decided not to be a dick head instead because he is like my bestest friend :)

Pretty cool isnt it?

I must admit... I have had a lot less problems wearing it....

Hmmmm.... life is full of strange mysteries... hmm sometimes I wonder...

Took me awhile... i thought i was looking a leather whip but i couldnt have thought about the C-C crosscoupling reactions (Suzuki)... instead of the whip... stinky and the whip... hmm... whip...

Got to keep the skills up to date. I'm already certified Java programmer, but the language has evolved. Android is actually way behind the curve, based on Java v6.

i dont understand how anyone can understand java. i tried to learn it couple of times in uni but i gave up. me and java dont like each other :/

Java is the most fun you can have with a programming language. Well apart from shell scripting. I know, I'm weird :p
