You mean a DS1812+ or a DS918+? The first has 8 bays and the second has 4. If you have any questions specifically we have a thread here where we were talking about NAS solutions. I do have the DS918+, although I don't use it as a PLEX server.

Broke down and purchased a 1TB Samsung Evo 860 SSD to replace one of my smaller SSD's. Got tired of jockeying games around on different HDD's/SSD's. So now I can keep them mostly all on one and have plenty of space to spare.
 
I've been using a 960 pro for a bit, and was going to just reuse that from old rig, but figured what the hell. I've spared no expense, besides graphics where I can't justify top dollar. So far it is blowing me away

Unless you are a hardcore gamer a premium gfx card isn't needed.

I mean, while I would like to be, or be able to brag about frame rates (lol), the cost is too outrageous. I do have a very nice 32" Dell 4k monitor. So my last build would struggle with some games at 4k resolution.
