Post Your Last Purchase

Time to replace the venerable old Samsung Note 10.1 (2014 edition). I looked at the new Pixel Slate (waiting list - Booo!) and the Samsung Tab S4 ($650 )and decided to go with the less expensive Tab A4 . Don't need the S-Pen or the Super AMOLED display, so this should be just the ticket.

Okay so I have made three purchases I bought a pair of gloves $10 and a $8 dollar watch from Walmart. My big purchase was getting a Moto E5 plus. If it had a bottom front facing speaker I would almost think that I was using a Nexus 6 again. However I feel like I am using a galaxy S9+ without the price. Overall I am very happy with it

Aaaw, nutz. I was hoping to be able to get rid of that clunky old webcam i have in my bedroom now. ;) :)
You get always get the Lenovo, it def has a camera :)
I got one for my sister for Christmas, she better like it! She keeps saying she wants to tape a tablet to the refrigerator so she can see her calendar. Ummm, try this instead? Sometimes I think one of us was adopted...

This is perfect for her then! haha, adopted or not!!

I bought a twenty five pound box of hot Cajun peanuts in the shell yesterday. They were late arriving at my local co-op
this year due to the flooding and such in the growing areas. Normally I have them prior to Thanksgiving. I'll gift half of them away at Christmas and the rest will be split between home and cabin. They prove to be great snacks to compliment most adult beverages.

Not completely my last purchase, since someone took out my mailbox post tonight, but I was working in my shed rebuilding a post and using my mostly latest purchase. I was able to raise the temp from mid twenties to sweatshirt comfortable in about ten minutes on high and maintain it on low temp in a completely uninsulated shed.

Next will be insulation a roll at a time, but for now I can do some work when it's freezing.

PS. @olbriar, all those buckets you see to the left of my fridge are different varieties of pellets for my smoker. ;)

I like your heater. I have a couple similar heaters that are larger but also burn propane. They work great. A nice clean heat. I also use a couple of forced air propane heaters with thermostats. They work better for large spaces. They will not operate on a 20# bottle though. They suggest using a 40# bottle or larger or manifold two 20's together. Sort of a hassle. I admit to not understanding the science for no matter what size bottle they all supply though the same regulator. But hey, they are quite correct. It fumes on just a 20# bottle and will make you sick.

I dislike using any portable heat but there are times that I have no choice in my employment.
Many years ago I used a number of these :)

It's called a plumbers pot and was used to melt lead for joining pipes back in the day. They would almost knock the chill off but made your eyes water and gave you a splitting headache. :) Propane is such a better fuel option.

As for the pellets.. :) one never has too much or too many options. I just stocked up on pellets. Wally World had 30# bags of a fruit blend for under thirteen bucks a bag. I also bought a couple of 40# bags of a competition hardwood blend. Don't remember the price. I had drained my stock to just a hopper full.... it was time to buy.
