I believe they're illegal in the UK and EU as well, for the same reasons. I think very low powered(safe) ones are ok, for pointing at things during presentations or lessons. Although they might be focused beam LED rather than a true laser. The beam is clearly visible on mine, and it has a very intense spot. I actually bought it from a street vendor in Beijing, 50RMB(about $8 USD) including rechargeable battery and charger.

Here is a picture of myself . My son has me tied up with a sheet and lots of duct tape .Yes I said duct tape . They thought it would be hilarious to take pictures ,as they poked at me . This is why I am laughing so hard .

So that is what troller Stinky types with his Made in China, computer, tablet or phone..

Well I was made in my mum's tummy. :p The jacket was Made in Mauritius. But yeh I'm sure everything else in that selfie was Made in China.
