Posting and you...

One day people will understand what forums are about. One day. When that day comes? Sometime after 2012, I would venture.
 
I see the humor it this.. don't get me wrong. However, there's grace and latitude, here. Personally, I've (and Colchiro) answered the same stickied questions over and over, especially in the root section, because if some newbie's bricked, it's a new issue for them and they're probably as panicked as I was when I was first bricked, so I walk them patiently by the hand, each and every time.

That said.. very funny.. (where's that eyeroll icon, darnit!)
 
it's funny... most folks are jumping in to answer questions, leaving me without a job. A good thing, though. :)
 
Yeah, I've answered the same questions repeatedly also because I remember being a noob and freaking out the first few times I screwed something up.

The search tool is great :D
 
Search doesn't always work if you aren't familiar with certain terms.
Sometimes stuff disappears. I had a question about Ubuntu in a FF forum. Question asked, answered. Needed answer again, can't find post, even under my name.
I worked in school libraries for years - the way things get indexed now just drive me crazy. Say I want x phone and font size. I get about 20 references to one of the SMS apps, but no answer to what I want. If someone has posted the question - 10 to 1 it's been ignored.
