Umm is there any other way to turn on phone without pressin ths power button now its gettin hard the button

While it's off, connect it to the charger and once it turns on disconnect it.

That does not turn it on, it only display a charge meter. What I would do is turn the phone off, pull the battery, and use a q-tip with high-purity isopropyl alcohol to get a little bit into the space around the button so that the gunk gets cleaned out. let it dry for 20-30 minutes and all should be well again. Then make sure you do not get dirt and other gunk on the phone.

You can take the back off of your phone with a torx driver and clean the power button with a razor blade or something similar that is REALLY thin. Build up gets around the button and makes it stick. You "might" can clean it from the outside with a very small flat head that will fit between the sides and clean some of that gunk out.

Dude I do it all the time. You gotta disconnect it right when the lg thing appears.

And void your warranty in the process.

Mine is well out of warranty, plus I bought it off Ebay.

But unless a metro rep pulls out a magnifying glass and examines the screws for marks, I think you will be okay. There's nothing on the inside indicating if you have taken the back off the phone or not.

Or you can just send your phone to LG and pay them for a new phone or to fix your sticky power button. lol

happens to me but rarely..i just try to flick at the button until it goes back into place..did you get something on it?
