Root power menu

Does anyone know of a power menu.zip that i can flash without a rom?
My wife is thinking of going with the stock rooted ff27 update but wants to keep the power menu without having to use an app to do it.

u can try the quick boot app allows reboot and recovery

The problem with quick boot is it doesn't do a proper shutdown. It's more like a battery pull. The phone should go through the shutdown sequence, vibrate, and then reboot. Prime rom has this.

This is something I've been working on with no eta in sight.. I have the edited files but I've been having trouble reodexing them which is needed for it to work on a stock rom..

So something like this would be fine on custom rom just not on the stock roms? New to this so just asking.

It is possible on stock, just not as easy because of odexing. With unmodified phones, there are always two files to an app: the actual runninng program which ends with the .apk extension, and the .odex file, which can be thought of as a directory file for the associated program (for example, calendar.apk and calendar.odex). Without the .odex file to direct the program, it tends to not work right, if at all.

Loota-man, I was thinking...if you have the full-blown program, then wouldn't the phone create the .odex itself? Else side-loading apps wouldn't work, right? Or am I missing a key piece of the puzzle?
