Root Power Off Problem any suggestions ?LD-ICK v2.0 {ZVD}

I am using the custom rom LD-ICK v2.0 {ZVD} for lg esteem. Everything workes fine except when i try to power down screens turns black, boot animation comes on and phone cones back on again. Also this happens when you try to use AnyCut network setting to change from 3G to 4G. I thought it was a issue with it having no poweroff.apk..or maybe something in build.prop any help please, im stuck on 3g with no way to full reset or power off.
 
Did you flash a theme over this or is it stock LD-ICK?

Did you do a full wipe before installing?

Online? You mean here right?

I've used LD-ICK many times before and never had any problems out of it. PM Ldrifta the creator of the ROM/Theme and let him know your issue and see if he can help. I could give you the files to fix it but if you downloaded it from here and it has this problem stock, then it's something that HE needs to address and get fixed. It's an easy fix so dont worry. ;) Just PM him :D
 
Yeah so Ld-ICK is a theme NOT a ROM.

I was thinking of Ld-LG, its a ROM.

Your problem is you are flashing a theme over a ROM that is doesnt work with it.

You need to change your ROM if you want to use that theme. ;)
 
Thanks alot but i did not alter it in any way or try to add a theme i have used many Roms before, so im stuck, but i will pm him , how would i find him to pm him on here lol
 
Oh i aee what your saying, its a theme. I usually wipe and then flash it alone so i was thinking it was a rom. So would i be able to flash broken out rom, then LD over it?
 
PROBLEM SOLVED*** once you mentioned it was a theme and not a rom i realized my mistake, i was flashing just the theme after a wipe lol, but.now i have broken out rom with this theme over it and problem is solved. Thank.You. Btw i noticed LDrifta has a posting of his rom, how is that rom?

Flash the #2 ROM and then flash this theme over it and you will be quite happy.
 
lol sorry for your issue man, why does everyone still think ld-ick is a rom? should i just make it a rom again? lol save people the trouble.. haha

It's in the ROM section in the guide, that might be why. Haha

Lol i will try the rom, thanks alot guys :) . Btw Lddrifta i have a request for roms.
I.always wondered if it was possible to add a option in.settings to use wifi/wired tethering..or more importantly to.switch between 1x,3g and 4g without using anycut...we all wuld love this, i hate restarting my phone. Thanks

That would have to be built into the rom, like the power menu when you press to power off phone.

Easiest way to cut data off completely is with Juice defender Ultimate. I think there's a setting to switch between but technically Metro doesn't have a 3G even though it's showed up on my phone before.
