It means exactly what it says. When they get inventory, yours will be sent out.
 
It's ten pm where I'm at Wed night still, can't help but laugh at the immediate demands and backlashes at radio shack lol, just imagine this thread this time tomorrow ha ha :-P
 
Everyone calm down. It's probably a precaution in case they don't get enough (which they should!). Stop freaking out here. You WILL get your phone.
 
1-800-843-7422 its a press 1 or 2 type deal once you get to your order status keep saying "i don't understand" so you will be connected to a real person lol thats what I did, worked for me. No worries though nothing is back-ordered like the email that we all received saying its backordered i was mad instantly when i read this, then called demanding an explanation why? They are waiting for the trucks to deliver the EVOs to the warehouse from their your credit/bank card will be charged then will be on its marry way to your door step or to your radio shack whichever you decided. :D

I got the same E-Mail this morning too. It's such a pain. LOL
 
I went to the Radio Shack website and it shows the HTC EVO V 4G status as in stock, so I spoke with a Customer Service Rep. from Radio Shack this morning, and he said that the reason the backordered email was sent was because it will take 1-2 business days for the devices to leave the warehouse. Basically saying since they won't be shipping on May 31st is the reason why we got that email, and that you will receive another email in 1-2 business days notifying you that it has shipped.

i got the same confirmation around 9am. I hope they ship today considering i bought it before 11 am. That way, i'll have it by Saturday. If they dont, i'll be lucky to have it by Monday. I;ve been w/o a phone now for almost 2 weeks! I guess another weekend wont hurt:bebored:

Lol idk how you went that long. Phones nowdays are like an extension of you. I would seriously feel lost and disconnected from the world without it.
 
I was still hoping to score one of these today from a store. I called my local radio shack that was supposed to open at 9 am central they didn't answer until just now 45 minutes later. She said they don't have any yet and doesn't expect any until maybe next week since Virgin just released it today. Now I am on the fence for preordering or just wait for it to be in a store.
 
I called, Mine is going to be available for me likely by Saturday. I'll be quite peeved if I have to wait until Monday.

Saturday is far enough away as it is. -_-

I did get $20 off and free shipping. I need to just be patient, I just don't know if I have that ability being stuck with a Blackberry 8330.... TRACKBALL... Ugh.

must be the area your in,i went to the website and shows in my area they are in stock.. and i just ordered mine an hour or so ago with overnight shipping.

You're probably still looking at it not being shipped until Mon. Says items ships from warehouse in 1 - 2 days. Maybe expect it Tues.
