Pre order from radioshack update

I ordered from RadioShack on 5/31 with the SAVE20 coupon and standard shipping. Got a shipped notice today, with FedEx tracking number. It shipped out today from Fort Worth, TX, and the estimated delivery is Wednesday, 6/6. Hopefully it comes earlier than that ;)

I was going to buy from a local Bust Buy tomorrow but since this has finally shipped, I'll just wait for it to come.

I feel sorry for you guys who preordered and got cancelled- that is absolutely awful service!
 
My 6/1 order was canceled so I just ordered from the VM website. As long as I get it before the 12th I'll be happy, although, I want it already. Lol.
 
Just got my shipping confirmation tonight at 11 PM... est delivery 6/6 . From Texas. You get yours Septembersrain? Maybe my nagging helped my situation... hopefully yours is shipped as well! :)
 
Just got my order confirmation. I'm only about 6 hours tops from Ft. Worth. I'm supposed to get it 06/04.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all of us!

wow, that's quite a bit away still -_- oh well, at least I know it's on its way. I have it shipped to my local store... which means I prob won't get it till like the 7th or even 8th -___-

Good spirit lifting emails on a Friday night! Gonna wash em down with a couple Shocktop Lemon Shandys. I'm at least content that I know that it is ACTUALLY on its way now... No more speculating!

Like many of you, my order was cancelled as well. Last night my order status was "processing" and this morning it said "cancelled."

I called RS and was told that the item was "out of stock." This is very curious since just yesterday when I placed the order, the phone showed "in stock."

Frankly, I don't like to support vendors who are not honest about their inventory.

The same thing happened to me, got off the phone with CS a little bit ago and they said they are supposed to be sending an email with reordering and expedited shipping. I'm really done with RS at this point, and I still have to wait for them to credit my bank account still.
 
In the same boat, got the shipping email with 6/6 eta. Kinda lame I thought shipping to the store would be faster. Hopefully it has VM branding I don't want it to say Sprint.
 
What I don't get is why RS cancelled all of those orders including mine and just didn't place the orders that they couldn't fill on a backordered status instead, like what VM is doing right now.
 
I have been following everything I can about this botched launch of the EVO V 4G. One thing that I haven't seen mentioned that may be something. On the actual HTC EVO V 4G order page on the VM site, if you click on "Also available at these stores" the popup says "available 6/10"......

any thoughts?
 
Hm. On VM it says I will be charged when the order ships, yet the status says back ordered and I was charged. :/
 
My phone finally shipped today I did 3-5 day shipping but luckily I only live a few hours from fort worth so I'm getting it tomorrow.

You weren't actually "charged" yet, a temporary hold was placed on that amount just to ensure that you have the funds available. Depending on your bank that hold will be released in 24-72 hrs. Even happens at the gas station if you go to fill up.

I know you are probably sick of Radio Shack (I am too), but you should have stuck with your preorder as it looks like almost all of them shipped tonight and are looking at Monday - Tuesday Deliveries.

But you do get the satisfaction of getting it VM direct and can replace your phone with ease if something goes wrong with it.

I didn't preorder. Ordered it yesterday. Wanted to see if there were gonna be any specials at Target like they did with the MT.
 
Got an email from The Shack order has been shipped at 2pm today, Fort Worth, TX whoot, will be here June 2nd! Its about time....:D
 
They put the money back on my card after holding it a few days ago. It hasn't been recharged even though the item is on transit and I've got the tracking order. My money is still in the account.

Anyone else not been charged but received a shipping confirmation and tracking number?
