We can't do contracts different from VZW's prices, we do them through verizon. They pay us basically to help their own sales.

As far as I know, best buy would match retail price of Verizon, all you have to do is tell them that.

Does that include, say, the price for a one year conract if one were offered by that particular best buy? So $249.99 + $80 for the one year would be matched if, as stated, the BB would do 1 year contracts?

best buy's don't do one year contracts anymore. If mine doesn't do it, none would do it, because it's an all or nothing type thing.

At this rate it looks like I will be waiting to see what the costs of verizon's other 4g phones are going to be. I hope they dont continue to jack up the prices maybe if the thunderbolt does terrible with sales they will lower the prices for future 4g phones
