Root Prerooted cab/kdz File?

Is it possible?
I know you can extract the files but I have no idea what to do when it comes to editing them.

Having a prerooted kdz would make unbricking amazing. So people can go from testing things out, to bricking, to un bricking and then testing things out again.

Instead of having to reboot the phone 3-4 times for the root/recovery.

That would be nice to have
Rooting doesnt take me long though
As often as we have to unbrick we should have our recovery make backups as .kdz
Se we can unbrick with our backups

I tried already to create a prerooted kdz before. The steps I took:

  • Extracted kdz file to wdb files (something like that)
  • Extracted wdb files to tot file
  • Used hex/binary tools to extract the system.img from tot file
After I got the system.img out of the tot file, it appeared to be corrupted or incomplete in some way. The filesystem reported problems. So I stopped at that point, because I can't insert files into a corrupt filesystem.

If anyone wants to try this themselves, you will need a couple tools like LGExtract.exe. Hopefully you have better luck than me.
