Root prevail on trac phone?

I saw a trac phone that was similar to the prevail, but the model was different, was wondering if CTMod would run on or would be safe to test on it, if so could one flash the phone over to boostmobile and use it on boost network?

Tracphones are GSM last I saw.
Trackphones are GSM. But Straightalk are everyone. They get coverage from all the major companies. They get the biggest from Verizon and those phones that Verizon refuses to carry (mainly their android ones) they put on Sprint. They also get some coverage from AT&T and Tmobile.

The coverage and the network you'll get depends on the hand set that you buy.

we the OP asked about tracfone n boost. Boost iirc is sprint which is cdma n which case he if found the correct info should able to flash it over too. That is if the radio uses the same freq.

I think the op means the net10 android. Its very similar to prevail but is on nett10 which is tracfone. Even has the tracfone logo. I think both net and St run on both cdma and GSM. the androids are mostly sprint but they just came out with Verizon ones.

*edit. Phone confusion

Well Sprint and Verizon are both CDMA ;) So for any of em to run both they need on AT&T and Tmobile too. ;)

NET10

NET10 is a related offering, using both GSM and CDMA phones which support voicemail and text messaging at a minimum.

Straight Talk is a Mobile Virtual Network operator (MVNO) offering both CDMA and GSM support. The CDMA side of the network uses Verizon's or Sprint's CDMA 1xRTT wireless networks, which was introduced in 2001 and is said to deliver between 40 and 60 kb/s to customers,[8] while the GSM side makes use of either T-Mobile's or AT&T's GSM networks.

I know for a fact the regular phones use those, but the androids seemed to only be sprint till about a month ago. I heard somewhere they were supposed to come out with t-mobile droids, but I don't know how reliable that is.
