PRL 3022 Screenshot!

You said before it had worked with your previous rom, Please make a backup of your current rom, Install your old rom black and download the 3022 prl for us please! You know how many people are just waiting for someone to post it!
 
I have tried almost every method I can think of to try to get my computer to see my phone on cm7.2 but the ONLY way it worked for me was to go back to PG's 2.2. Once I did that everything worked as smooth as butter. You WON'T lose the prl version when you flash or restore. I've tried every set of drivers I could find but it just doesn't work. If you have the files you need, the process can be done quicker than the time it has taken me to swype this reply. Backup rom, flash 2.2, go through the steps to push new prl (or save prl), then restore backup.

But guys someone will figure it out.we just have to be patient. Some are beginning to sound a lil demanding and impatient. I know I'm definitely one of the ones with ants in my pants waiting to try out the 3022 prl but you guys gotta remember that its not guaranteed to work... Especially if you don't live in the target area.
 
:D Omg, I got 3g here in fort lauderdale florida!
I have a Metro PCS Samsung Admire sch-r720.

my signal strength went
from: -65 dBm 65 asu (when i had prl 3019)
To: -101 dBm 101 asu (prl 3022)


I extracted the prl 3022 using QPST. ( i hope i did it right:p)

but i dont know how to get it on the forum to share it.

It says .prl is not a file type i can attach.

can someone help me figure it out?

just previous to getting 3G i installed :

1. Superuser (to gain root access) {got from the market}
2. Root Checker (to make sure Superuser worked)
3. and also updated the .prl list from 3018 to 3019 by dialing *228 then option 5.

so i dont know if any of these things had anything to do with my 1x becoming 3G ( but im psyched :))

Ok now have 3022 on my ascend. No change a of yet. driving around town to see what happens in different areas. But keeping in mind that the prl came from an admire. I'll keep ya posted
 
On the new pg build I had to reinstall the drivers and when they install theres only one driver. the usb storage. WTF?
 
Restored my BobZ back up pushed the PRL and got 3G immediately once rebooted. Data is coming in and data is going out. Ill keep you posted because the 3020 data would work and then just quit. So I dont have my hopes up
 
Well one hour all still works. Seems faster, I would do a speed test but that speed test doesnt show a server in my area. The nearest one is in Pensacola which is like 9-10 hours north and across the state from me. I dont know why that shows and not atleast Miami since Im 2 1/2 hours away from Miami

im in atlanta mine ddoesnt seem faster, its the same
 
Have you gotten 3g before with the 3019 prl? Ive had 3g with the 3019 and my phone switched on its own to 3020 but had problems shortly after and had to switch back. That might be it.



Oh and no problems. Seems like a winner.....So far

you have to go to device manager and delete the Android 1.0 and re install the drivers for it to work on XP. ;)
 
just forced the 3022 prl and get get 3g if i switch to evdo only but i get no incoming data. Im in metro detroit does anyone know if the 3020 works here?
 
I switched back to the 3019. Since forcing this PRL, and even tho it stayed steady with a 3g signal and didnt switch back and fourth from 1x to 3g, KILLED my battery life. No joke, all night on the charger and I would go to unplug it my battery life would immediately drop 2% literally the split second I unhooked the charger. Within 2 minutes would drop to 94, within an hour 79. 5 hours 25-30. And this is barely using the phone and having constant consistent 3g. Since switching back and the phone being on the charger for 2 hours to be fully charged and now has been off the charger for an hour and a half to 2 hours, my battery is 98. Long story short, I rather have good battery life then 3g. 3g dont do sh*t for you if your battery is dead.

did you try to dial *#*#4636#*#* and switch to evdo only and run ping test to see if you even have 3g
