Well, of all the knowledge I do possess, you sir have just added something knew to the collection lol.

Really though thank you for the info, I never thought that was the case, I assumed that PRL'S were coverage area specific, as in an area that is 3g capable would be given a 3g prl and an area that still doesn't have 3g would have an older version.
 
No change :( well as of now...it cloudy and we had a huge storm roll thru earlier so probably not the best conditions right now
 
Updated in Detroit and am now 3029 hopefully when I get home it will be the fix I needed as I have been kinda thinking the 3028 prl update is the cause of my issue
 
Just updated. My down is normal about 1.6 to 1.8 mb but my up dropped right off... Hopefully it's cus I only have one bar of service right now
 
all PRL does is updates the roaming list, its not a fix for anything, it just simply tells the phone what roaming towers to use if you are out side metros area
 
Possibly due to three fact the virgin and boost went live with Wimax and updating metro towers with sprints lte network

No I never had this issue til about a week ago and I have to drive a quarter mile away from my house either way to get the 4g working. I appreciate you sharing troubleshooting tips with personal experiences, if nothing else hopefully someone who does have that issue will be directed to your post through google in the future.

It's the same way where I live.. Seems like if the wind is blowing i have to go outside to get a signal sometimes.. It was the same way with boost and verizon but metro is by far better.. use to set my phone in the top of the window and hook blue tooth up to it just to use it if i was in the room lol.. just the dead zone i happen to be in..
 
seems this has fixed the 4g prob on my friend's indulge ive notified him about the update this morning he txted me a while ago saying his 4g on his indulge is working again not sure what to make up of this but glad it has helped some1.
