Help PRL Thread(Current 3035) Please Post New Ones Here When Available

So I haven't updated yet (kinda hoping for a fota so I don't have to do anything :)) I dialed *228 but I'm still on 3032. Any differences in speed or signal or anything to constitute me updating manually?

I did *228 with someone who bought a motion recently, he got downgraded from 3033 to 3032 over here in FL...I was like O.o

The DFW area (Metro's home territory) hasn't gotten 3033 yet. I just tried the *228 and it stayed on 3032. Someone, somewhere else (maybe in the Spirit 4G forum), said it allowed 3G data on Sprint's network. I'm wondering if Metro is rolling it out in places that don't have good Metro coverage, but have good Sprint coverage.

Edit: Oops, I see it now, 2 posts above mine. :o

No because if you have an LG motion there are PRLs there are specific to the Samsung Galaxy 3 such as PRL 2032, which I have flashed on my phone right now it works great you're not going to get that with the option *228

How does one flash the 2032 to the Motion? And does the phone work better with this PRL than, say, the current Motion PRL?

As to how, there are a few threads that talk about using QPST to flash the prl. The prl 3032 is actually a Motion prl (and maybe other Metro Android phones as well).

30## are universal with all metro android phones except the Samsung Galaxy S3.

20## are special PRLs that will roam on Sprint's network when metros is unavailable and was intended for S3s only, but leaks never stop

3033 is rumored to let us (everyone on MetroPCS) roam on sprints network, so it sounds a little special.

That's what I was kinda thinking, cause I remember having 30xx prls on my Optimus M.

Anyone else using Sprint's 3g being throttled? I couldn't get over 300kbps since February, and I don't use more than about 150Mb/month.

20## S3 specific, most on this just got faster 4G

90## (Never Released) Originally supposed to be S3 specific where you could roam on Sprint 3G but I guess this is what 3033 is.

Does anyone with an S3 have it being pushed to their phones?
Getting what pushed? 3033? 9033?
Well I don't think so since I didn't get either but when N4zty leaked it I believe he said 9033 was supposed to be for S3 only.

3033. And I know about 9033, who do you think posted 9033.prl on all the MetroPCS prl threads ;)

Very weird. I flashed 3033 prl the other day and it took. I checked today and the prl is back to 3032. The only thing that I did was a reboot. Is a reboot supposed to revert the prl back?

A lot of times PRLs don't stick, especially when it is new. If the area gives you 3032 when using *228, then it will downgrade or upgrade your prl depending on what is currently in the phone.

Drivers? Or maybe your phone and PC needs reboots? I really don't know.

What operating system you on?

When I do the*228 update, it goes to the 3032 prl, not the 3033. So I manually did the 3033, only to find that it's not as stable as the 3032. At least not in NYC. I would lose all data capabilities in Brooklyn, but the signal would deceptively say that I had 4 bars of 4g. Anyway, the problem went away once I went back to the 3032 prl. On that one, I actually have 4 bars of working 4g in Brooklyn, BX, and Manhattan.Just a word to the wise for the locals.

Quick Question...
Does anyone know the process in which Metro releases PRLs? I've tried updating mine using #228 for about a month now, and it still pops up as 3032... I tend to get really weak 3G and mid-range 1x, and I'd like to update and see what happens. Any info would be appreciated.
