Help PRL Thread(Current 3035) Please Post New Ones Here When Available

Quick Question...
Does anyone know the process in which Metro releases PRLs? I've tried updating mine using #228 for about a month now, and it still pops up as 3032... I tend to get really weak 3G and mid-range 1x, and I'd like to update and see what happens. Any info would be appreciated.
That's weird that its not pushing through for you maybe you should try doing it manually from here

it didnt push to me ether. i manually updated to 3033 when it was released but after a couple of weeks i was pushed ota 3032... hmmm.... o well 3032 seemed to work better for me tbh.... i think they push by location also.

I don't know if I'm posting the right place, but I need help please; my phone (LG Motion 4G) has been hacked (my computer & wireless security system as well) by some tech savy stalker who has, in the last 6 weeks, cost me several thousand in vandelism to my home and car and motorcycle, I was building a case against him and I had a lot of evidence on my phone, which is now missing (stolen, though I can't prove that) I'm trying to find where my back up was stored, if it even was, can anyone help please?

I just tried updating to 3033, no luck in the Boston area.

Anyone know what MetroPCS's deal on roaming is? Do we have data capabilities while roaming? I noticed since reinstalling Version C, that I get the Roaming Triangle in my status bar, and when I pull down my notifications, instead of saying MetroPCS at the bottom it says Travel Talk. Now, I actually had to lookup Travel Talk to see what it was, and I found out that it is roaming minutes that you can use ($0.19/per minute o.O) when you have no Metro service. When I tried to make a phone call I got "Verizon Wireless is unable to place you call at this time, please try again later" message. If you need Travel Talk time to Roam successfully, why in the world update the PRL unless you are going to load Travel Talk minutes on your phone? (this all may be moot, I never remember seeing this on my Motion before, and seems like it just showed up when I reinstalled C)

P.S.
I have tried just about every PRL in that list, and saw no real difference with any of them at all (no faster speeds, no better service) so I would imagine most of these lists are pretty similar.

Yea you only get on TravelTalk where its 19c/min and unlimited text if your roaming in a metro market except Jacksonville everywhere else (out of metro area) is Extended Home where you roam on Sprint with Unlimited 1x, talk, text. Have you tried using joyn

On my Metro CDMA iPhone 4 when I dialed *228 and got the latest PRL, the 3G stopped working. However, when I use PRL 3032 the 3G works. Although my signal switches between 3G and 1x frequently when I'm sitting at home. Does anyone know if switching to another PRL would resolve this? Is 3033 still the latest? I see someone has posted another PRL since then. :smokingsomb:

Yes it is.

On devices not branded metro, DO NOT USE *228 TO UPDATE PRL. It tends to downgrade the PRL instead of updating it. I know because I had a non-MetroPCS phone on metroPCS and it happened to me. You will now have to reflash PRL 3033 on your iPhone somehow. That info is beyond anyone here due to fact all of us here use androids :p

3035 has been released also I'm guessing that depending on your market you may have to go to a metro store or use QPST if you don't upgrade soon enough

I can confirm it So far I can report my standard late night uploads speed of 5 to 8 an increase of upload speed by 1 to 2 Mbps but my latency has dropped normally a ping of 130-170 late night has dropped tonight to just under 110 I often don't see look ping that low until the sun is up.

Already here in south FL

whatever happened to 3034????

honestly I'm not a big fan of this prl...I lose data and roam when I'm in my room which I built myself but it's basement level.... with 3032 I get signal just fine.... time to downgrade I guess

Looks like I have the new PRL.

I noticed that when I traveled to Nashville, TN with my LG Motion 4G that I had 4G coverage, even though it is not on MetroPCS's map. I wonder if this is because of the new PRL and the T-Mobile merger?
