hey guys i jut wanted to let you know im probably selling my triumph soon... :(

But, i will be staying here. i will continue to make things for this device as much as i can and provide as much helpful info as possible. :D

p.s- im getting the htc amaze 4g (i cant stand virgin mobile anymore)

Btw, what exactly do you need to do when selling it? Like do you need to clear your esn or msid or anything like that?

it sucks to be getting rid of my triumph, but im tired of having horrible service for $25 when i could have awesome service for $30

haha wow :D

well im going to call vm to get it deactivated... then im going to flash the stock rom, perform a factory reset (just to make sure everything is erased), then ship it.
Alright cool. Planning on selling mine eventually. Saving up for a Note :D

Well good luck with that and definitely keep us informed. I'm seriously thinking of jumping to T-Mo's Walmart plan myself if I hear good things. Does seem like a hell of a deal though. 100 mins. or 300 mins. it doesn't matter, GrooveIP works great for me.

If I may ask, how are you going to switch? Are you going to buy the Amaze off contract and then go to the prepaid service? I'm asking since I've been wanting to switch and this might be what I want to do also. Thanks

could I buy any phone from t mobile and get that 30 a month plan? Or how does it work? The phones listed for the prepaid plans are pretty mediocre...

You can buy any T-mo phone or unlocked GSM phone you want (although they have to be able to run on T-mo's 4g if you wan 4g otherwise it will be 2g, so it's better to stick with T-mo phones since not many GSM phones run on T-mo's network), and buy a prepaid sim activation kit and activate it online then just pop it into your phone.

So I could get a galaxy S 2? :o

Wow! S2 for $30 a month? So how would that work? I buy the phone full price or just buy with a contract?

You can't buy it with a contract unless you want to have to pay for a postpaid plan. It's like VM in the sense that you have to buy the phone not "rent" the phone like with a contract. Cheapest way would be to get a used one off of ebay or craigslist.

Alright, gonna do that. Thanks!
