Problem extracting video from phone to pc

Hey guys, I am having problems extracting videos from my s2 to the pc. From what I know you extract files, by finding the DCIM folder and then finding your videos, then drag and drop on your desktop/destination folder. This works on smaller videos however on larger ones, when I try to play the video, I get an error message. But when I play it on the DCIM folder itself (without extracting to the pc) it works.

The options you can pick between when you plug in the usb cable from the phone to pc includes that something like "Import videos and pictures" but I don't want all of them there, how do I choose which ones to import?

thanks.

Welcome to the Forums! :)

I don't understand why you can't drag the files to your pc.

An idea though. Have you heard of Dropbox? Cloud storage.

I recently sent some videos there for storage and then wiped them from my phone's memory. I could dl them from there, as well.

Another idea is using something like Airdroid to wirelessly move files between your devices.

There is probably a simpler answer to your question, but until someone shows up with that, consider those.

Thanks for the help, I don't know about Airdroid but Dropbox uses wifi to upload and that takes forever cause of my bad internet. Im just gonna wait for a simple answer (if there is one)

+1 for airdroid. It uses your wifi as well but can connect to it from any computer. I have transfered many of items from phone to computer and vise versa never had a problem with video's not playing.
