Problem Flashing DarkHorse Theme in AOSP

Hello, I am relatively new to rooting, and just did it for the first time earlier this week. (Woot, why the hell I didn't do it sooner, I'll never know :P)

Anyhoo, I'm running AOSPMod 9.9.2 (Stable) but I wanted to add a theme to make the colors darker, etc.

I really like DarkHorse on the XDA forums so I downloaded that and tried to flash it. However, after I flash the theme, my phone will not boot up, it just gets stuck looping the boot animation for DarkHorse (android robot in a silver circle) and never gets to the home screen. I've tried letting it run for 10+ minutes, thinking it just takes that long, before pulling the battery and rebooting. Nothing has helped so far.

I always do a nandroid backup, then wipe data/cache/davlik before flashing the theme, but after several recoveries and trying things out, it still will not boot with that theme. The only other thing I have installed is Swype, but I know this is not the problem, as I've tried installing the theme both with and without Swype installed.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you! :)

2 things, make sure the theme is compatible with the build you are on. Some of the themes are for different builds. Provide the link if possible.

Second, when flashing a theme, there is no need to wipe data. Wipe only Dalvik Cache and cache, flash theme, then reboot!

I tried it again, this time not wiping the data, only the cache/davlik and it worked. :o

Thank you so much for helping a noob out! :p
