Root Problem flashing recovery

Having an odd problem trying to flash a recovery. I am running a rooted but otherwise stock rom. I was able to install a custom recovery (Clockwork) using the rom manager app.
However, when I try to install a different recovery using flash_image, I am getting an error:

# flash_image recovery xionia.img
mount: Device or resource busy

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Your xionia.img file is most likely not stored in the root of your phone, it should be on your sdcard, so type:

flash_image recovery /sdcard/xionia.img

I tried moving it to the root of the sdcard and got the same error.

Please post the exact steps you are taking, including any code lines you are inputting.

My crystal ball is a bit cloudy, can't quite make out what you're doing.

My steps are pretty straightforward:

$ cd /sdcard
$ su
# ls -l xionia.img
[I]----rwxr-x system   sdcard_rw  4136960 2011-06-15 19:36 xionia.img[/I]
# flash_image recovery /sdcard/xionia.img
[I]mount: Device or resource busy[/I]

Mystery solved..... my 'flash_image' was bad. I re-installed it and all was ok!
