Root Problem installing GB leak.

It does sit. It takes a few minutes. Don't disturb it. It's in three parts and the last part is the quickest.

Steven, I tried to chime in another thread to help him. He stated he is not doing the 3part GB -rooted, just the 1 file. I didn't use that method so I'm unable to offer much assistance.

I used the 1 part file when I first upgraded to GB. I believe, correct me if I'm wrong, that 1 part file is the first leak ( 4.5.573). That was the only one I could get to work because I didn't know i need to be 100% stock froyo.

Once I sbf'ed back to stock froyo I got the latest 3 file GB to go in with no problem. For me, using the RSDlite method was the easiest way to go about sbf'ing. Going from the first leak to the latest I can tell you the latest leak is more stable.

A few changes were made but not many. The home screens were changed around a little and the baseband, build number, and kernel versions changed. Of course being a newer version, that was expected...lol.

Your best option is to use the for mentioned RSDlite method to flash back to stock froyo then flash the 3 files, get all your apps and personal data and such put back in, then make a backup of your new system using titanium back-up and CWM.

P:S How am I doin so far?

Ok thanks I will try that when I get home and let you guys know how it works and I have any other problems. Thanks again to everyone who helped me
