Root problem opening apex

im having a problem downloading Apex. when i try it says "failed to open a default viewer"

are you using the stock browser?...if so try with another...i use dolphin and it works fine

No I use xscope. On the previous phone it worked like a champ but I have tried several times to delete it then redownload it but have had no sucess

I always download to my computer then tranfer to my SD Card from there. Just find it more trustworthy and I have a copy of al the ROMs and zips in a folder on my computer.

+1...i download from my computer then place them on my sd card via usb and when im done i place them in my dropbox in case i need them on the go

Yeah Dropbox is a great tool.

Found my solution. Yes it does matter that I didn't uninstall Apex on my previous phone. I downloaded "androzip" and deleted Apex from the SD card. Then I tried opening Apex again and it worked as advertised.
