Problem recognizing MicroSD

My phone will sometimes recognize the sd and others it wont,
then I cant access any of the apps that are on the sd or pictures and that stuff

what could the problem be

Try formatting it. It could have somehow become corrupted. Make sure to back up your data first.

If you have a computer,inset the micro sd into the adapter that was supplied(after you have unmounted it from your settings menu). Insert that into the computer. A window should open up with the contents of your SD card(if not click on start/computer/SD card). Go to start/click on your folder/create new folder and transfer the contents of the SD card into it.Go to start/computer/right click on sd card, select format. Select:restore device defaults, click on start and wait. After it is done transfer everything back over to the SD card Window,click on safely remove hardware icon and remove adapter. Reinsert SD card. It should automatically remount. I hope this will fix your problem.
