Root Problem rooting.

Okay, it's an on going struggle trying to root this damn phone -

  • I downgraded to ZVB.
  • I checked USB Debugging.
  • I'm pretty sure I installed all the Esteem drivers.

What else do I need for this One Click Root to work? :confused:

Download the root and extract the file on your computer, connect your phone and open settings>applications>development and check USB debugging. Then put your phone in internet mode and in the file you downloaded double click the Windows batch file.
 
go back and un check and re check usb debugging, you might want to restart the phone and try again, but also the drivers might not have install properly.

Just to make sure 100% - Can you link me to the correct drivers that need to be installed?

I will do the things you listed.
 
Reinstall drivers, definitely... Go To Add/Remove Programs and Uninstall the Drivers from there, then reDOWNLOAD them along with reinstalling them. Try this and let us know how it goes. I have had bad downloads AND installations of drivers before so have to try every possibility.

Try this one, And if you have the tool install, you can connect the phone and have it install the right drivers needed.

10/29/2011 - Added adb wait-for-device command, waits for device before running script.

Download and run the batch file, restart the phone on your own.

For all of you who could no longer root, using the official one click root.

This will solve your problems, I added 4 batch commands.

2 of them fully clear out your android's tmp folders. The other 2 commands delete your su files before attempting root.
