Root problem with aahk

Hey there, I've read pretty much this whole thread and still dunno what to do.
I have the problem where I try to downgrade but can't because the PD98IMG-GB2 file aint working for whatever reason. However I have downloaded it and put it in the right folder but the bugger still aint working, it just sends the new file I downloaded into the PD98IMG folder.
Don't mean to rush anyone but I have until saturday to do this so any quick help would be greatly appreciated.

you apparently,havent read very closely as the following post(from the first page) has all the info you need:

The dev who created the AAHK has pulled it and is no longer supporting it. He has asked that we do not distribute copies either.

If you would like to root, there are a couple of guides:

my advice would be to follow thefirst guide ,its safer than manually downgrading your whole build,unless you are 100% sure your device shipped with froyo.

its a quick,and fairly straightforward manual process. just post in that thread if youve any questions

Hopefully, if I've done it right, you should have an email to a shared folder from my dropbox........Hopefully.

The syntax of the command is incorrect.
Parameter format not correct - "PD98IMG-GB2.zip".

Woah dude[tte] - bogus md5sum! Bad mojo.... no file to flash

Check it out - renamed the file to PD98IMG/PD98IMG-GB2.zip-bad

You can re-download the file and keep going....

I've received an email confirming that you've got access to the shared folder. Have you got it downloading now?
Hopefully this will sort you out, otherwise it's all been for nothing.

The root guide was written by one of our members (a Guide on this site), Scotty85, and is very comprehensive. It has been followed by many people and is, currently, the only supported method here @ AF.
