Root problem with activation

my phone has been deactivated for awhile now, i decided to get it activated.. so i pay online and recieve the manual on how to activate and add my new phone number to my phone.. as im doing it i get to the service code part and as soon as i enter it i get a force close, im running Broken out ROM on my Connect, could this be the issue? were all hidden menus removed with this rom? and would reverting back to stock ROM perhaps fix my problem? thanks..

Yes. Revert back to stock before activating.

Um... I flashed just fine with *228, let it fail and manually programming on black plague.

That's nice. But the OP is on Broken Out. It doesn't have the hidden files necessary to activate.

My idea was to just flash bp instead of stock since its compatible with most bo mods.
