Root Problem with CWM v5.0.2.6

I had to send my phone to motorola for warranty issues, just got it back today and ive re-rooted the phone, and not im trying to get cwm back up, but its not working correctly. Every option when selected just clears the screen except for the hat and refresh symbol thats typically in the background. Power off, reboot, wipe cache, everything does that. The only way to bring the options back up is to hit the power button again but that doesnt get me anywhere. Ive pulled the battery a few times and tried different versions of it as well. But I'm not sure if I installed a diff version of it correctly

How I tried a diff version
mounted the phone
deleted old cwm file
moved new file from computer to phone

You're hitting the power button, not the menu button.
