Running Cm7.2 with newest Tiamat sbc kernel ... no issues with google market until last few days. When i go to download an application it now says " Error purchasing ". I tried wiping cache and dalvik cache but didnt help.

same way you would a zip or other file. dl to pc then use cable to put on sd card.

then navigate to it with astro or root explorer or some other file manager. when you select it, it should ask if you want to install it.

Might be able to dl it with phone as well, for that matter, then find it in your browser's dl folder.

This was a big problem a few weeks ago. It was problems on googles end.

Things that worked for people:
1)Wiping market cache & data
or
2)Signing out and signing back into their google account
or
3)The problem just goes away

sorry, maybe it will 'just go away' by itself. :o

I was trying to dl sprint's free nav app, it said there was something wrong with my account. tried all that stuff. dl'd and installed the apk and it worked.

have you rebooted your phone since you installed it? maybe that'll kick it into gear.

That has helped people too, but you already walked him through that so I left that out. Was it the most recent market that you linked? There was a new play store apk that was supposed to fix it

No bad to you, just surprised it didn't work.

It was the one I used that fixed it, may be a newer one by now though.

edit: googled, seems to be latest.

I get the error purchasing message all the time when I switch ROMs. I don't think the new Google Play Store recognizes all the "different" Google Play Store apps from ROM to ROM. It eventually goes away if I stop switching, lol

I switched back to Mik3.11 today when the ics rom i was trying fc'd on me. Playstore wouldn't work.

I hit up the playstore apk I have on my sd card, had to do it twice, actually, then it worked again.

Found a fix for this. All you have to do is wipe all data/cache for Google services framework and reboot. Then your good to go! Located in settings/applications/manage applications/all apps
