Root Problems Overclocking Droid

Okay, so I decided to take the next step of making my droid better and attempt to overclock my droid. I followed the guide on rootyourdroid.info, as I have for every process so far, but it gets stuck in the final reboot process. The motorola logo just hangs on the screen and I have to do a battery pull/nandroid backup. I noticed that several people posted this problem on the website but could not find a fix. Any suggestions?

Which kernel are you using? Your Droid may need a different kernel to be happy.

some kernels just dont work well with some droid which is probably what you are experiencing. The good news is if you followed what is on root your droid you did it the hard way and now you could do it the hard way if needed.

Check out AdamZs kernels. Its easy and has a ton of options

AdamZs should work fine. If it wont get past the M try a different speed or voltage. You should be able to find a working combination pretty quick

I'm on BB0.7 using Chevy's 5-slot 1Ghz kernel and my Droid loves it

Okay, I just wanted to update you guys! I just installed SG 6.0 (decided to try it over BB, so far i like it!) and SG Boots. My phone is now blazin at 1100. Thanks for the help, I greatly appreciate it!
