Help Problems synching to gmail account

On my sister's EVO, she has her gmail account set up and the settings set to sync everything to her gmail account. However, nothing's synching. In her gmail account, she has NO contacts listed. Her Emails, however, DO show up, including the ones tied to her main Comcast.net account. It's just her contacts that we cannot get to sync and show up.

Any suggestions?

Try unsyncing the google shut phone pull battery leave out for like a minute or two then reboot phone click on sync and then see if its working. If she is rooted before going into rom go to recovery and clear cache and dalvic then reboot into ROM and turn sync back on. If that doesnt work try setting up a new google account.
