Root Problems using the OTA app store?

Since I threw virusrom on my thunderbolt, it doesn't show up in the official appstore under compatible devices (when I try to install over the air). the OG had no problems running custom roms and getting apps OTA, is this something new to the thunderbolt or just to this rom?

There's a guide somewhere that explains how to correct this. Try googling "problems with desktop market." I had to do it with my Incredible. Haven't tried on my TB as I really don't care too much about it
