Help Problems with Gmail Sync

Is anyone else having issues with email not being pushed to the phone? For a few days now my gmail is not syncing with the phone. I have to manually hit refresh in the gmail app on the phone for it to sync. I have gmail checked off in the sync section of my phone, anyone have any ideas what the problem could be?

Do this..

menu>settings>applications?manage applications>all

Find gmail and clear cache and data. Back out of there and go to your gmail app. Open it and hit refresh. Should clear up any issues you're having

Thanks for the response, but unfortunately that didn't fix it. Phone is not syncing...I go to gmail and hit refresh, and several new emails pop up going back two hours.

Try doing the same for gmail storage, google and google storage. I have this problem occasionally and if what I said first doesn't work this usually does

Are you running an App killer like Advanced? I found that this was the issue for me. After much reading and testing, I have found these apps are a bigger nuisance than help.

Having same issue, only with Yahoo mail through the native application. It will SEND mail, but will not receive. I did the "clear data" listed above, "clear cache" was grayed out, and now it won't even let me LOG IN to the mail or create the account.. so clearing the data apparently cleared too much..
