Hey everyone! I just got an Evo shift and was havin issues replying to text because it wasn't sending to a 10 digit number...and i noticed on here a LOT of people were having the exact same issue. Well...i went to Best Buy and they helped me, all you have to do is log on to your gmail account (hopefully where ever you bought your phone they backed your contacts on gmail)...so if they did...log onto your gmail acct on your computer and go to contacts, then add your area code to ALL your contacts. Then DELETE all your previous text message threads in your phone and you should be good to go!! Hope it works for you guys, it worked for me
