Help Problems

My LG Optimus V wont charge when you try to turn it on while "charging" the buttons blink and when you plug it in while its on it automatically shuts off can someone help?

Did you try a new battery, using a different USB outlet, and using a different USB cable? If you tried all three of those and the phone still has charging issues, then I would call VM and see about replacing the phone.

It's December, bought my 1st Optimus V in June, completely dead in October, replacement battery didn't help. they replaced the phone. now it's December and it happened again. will not charge, will not reset, will not do anything. TWICE in six months. they're just bad phones.

& don't even get me started on all the other crashing, freezing, locking, apps disappearing issues. I use my phone professionally and being without a phone for a day or two is a huge problem not to mention all the information I lose. I've been w/ Virgin over 5yrs but I think I'm going to have to finally end it. This phone is unacceptable.

^Seriously. Not that I've caused any problems myself :p. But this V is far from a horrible phone.

They are not horrible phones. You got a dud the first time, and a refurb the second time. Had you done a bit more research, you would of known you can push for a brand new phone (which is exactly what I did when my first VM non android phone stopped working). It's discretionary on weather or not they give you a brand new replacement or a used refurbished replacement. If you don't ask or push, you're going to get a refurbished phone. You just have to know how to talk to the CSR so you can get what you want without pissing them off in the process.

My phone runs perfect. Not one single problem. The only problem I've ever had is with Virgin Mobile themselves.
