But I just gotta try the o/c version. this Rom is very easy to like 800mgz so i just gota try
900mgz. every thing has worked great but i just gotta know.
 
Thank you so much KillCMD, this is a kick butt ROM. been running the Lazy version for a couple of days, and love it..so snappy, and smooth..I think I'll be using it as my daily driver for the foreseeable future..
 
Is MMS working on this rom? I love it so far, but I am not able to send any picture messages it just gets stuck on sending. And its not my service because Im in south florida and we have alright 3g.

Same thing with messages, if the message send time the same, yours appears on the bottom even if you send it first. The music player also fc ing. Try Winamp or android player from play store.

Using lazy version with beats.

Thank you killcmd - the rom is awesome, snappy, better data speeds. Keep developing Roms for lazy admire.

No, MMS wouldn't work for me either (receiving, didn't try sending but I'm guessing it's the same) other then that it's good. I can actually use the Facebook app with ease now lol
 
So, I love this rom, first of all. Its smooth, nice looking, small (very little bloat), and simple.

However, only having one issue. To get my MMS working on any rom I have to go in and replace the APN file to work with nTelos, after which most everything works. On previous roms I would manually update my Play Store by installing the .apk for the latest version manually and then it seems to work fine, but only if I force stop, clear data and then wipe all caches and then let it sit for a while.

However, on this rom that little trick seems to not work so well since I can't install my Play Store .apk since the one I have is the same as the one already installed. I even let it sit for two days before opening Play Store and it still is giving me the 492 error. Without fixing this I have to find the .apk on my laptop and then put it on my phone and manually install it.

Any ideas? O.o

Yeah hrm I got error 492 as well :confused:
 
Boot back into CWM and reflash the rom without wiping anything and you should be golden. After flash, reboot recovery. If you get that pesky cache log error, reflash. If not, you're good :)
 
hey guys, i just flashed this rom to my phone, and my phone has been on the screen that says "sch-r720" at the top and "samsung" at the bottom. is this normal or should i restart everything again? i installed the super version of the rom.

EDIT: nevermind, I got it, I had 5.0.2.7 and I just needed to use 5.0.2.8
 
this was the best rom I ever used on my admire. Worked great, fast & smooth. Only problem I had was with MMS, it just didn't work. So unfortunately I had to switch to another one. Hopefully an update comes soon.
 
everytime i make or recieve a call. the phone.apk crashes and i lose wireless for a few seconds. no HUGE deal but i'd thought i'd let the OP know... and of course MMS problems everyone else has

I'm going to post up a new ROM soon. I do have it working as a Lazy version on my phone right now, I might just upload it tonight.

-stock mms replace by GoSMS Pro.
-ADW-launcher 1.3.3.7
-and a few updates

Seems to run better.
 
Glad to see an update for this rom. Wifi doesnt seem to work though. I get "error".using the lazy version

Make sure to clear the dalvik cache, cache and data partitions. I hadn't a problem with the Wifi.
 
Damn... I did a backup, wiped EVERYTHING. Ported everything back to my SDCard, dropped into recovery 5.0.2.7. Upgraded to .8 and then installed the Rom....
And then I wait.... an hour later, and I'm still waiting... I know the cache needs to be rebuilt, etc etc, but damn.
I then try to restore from backup. Corrupted. Move the backup from another thread that's 2.3.6 and de-bloated, and it works fine. Re-install....

The super version got stuck on that part too, lazy version works though
