Hi there,
contract ran out with Sprint, so I'm in the market for a new Android phone. Thinking about the HTC Eris. Looking forward to learning some things around here.

I'm still not up on my Android devices but for what it's worth, I was reading an article on the Eris and it was noted that there were no hardware keys on this phone which might not seem like a big deal but it was pointed out that the MyTouch from T-Mobile has a few hardware keys and a trackball which lights up and flashes when you get a call or notices, a big deal if you're trying to find your phone in the dark. Just something to consider as you're looking around. Sometimes you don't think of these things (I didn't) but I happen to have a MyTouch and it never occurred to me how much I might miss that stuff if it wasn't there. I'll definintely try to remember that when I go shopping for my next one.
