I'm thinking of re-provisioning my EVO 4G.
Before I do that - may I ask what is it suppose to do?
Will I lose any of my personal UI settings (like data restore)?
Is it the same as Updating my Profile under Settings?
Don't qoute me on this but re-provisioning might be re-activating it...or..factory resetting it...not sure.
Maybe someone with a little more insight will have answer..
Or google it
Maybe this will help...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=694861
I work tech support for a cable and inet provider, and the term "provisioning" (at least on our end) is just a fancy work for turning a service on. i.e., activating. So Mikestony is on the right path with using the term re-activating it. If youre able to make calls etc etc then youre provisioned, but de-provisioning and re-provisioning might fix stuff that got caught up in the process during activation. This is usually only helpful when stuff doesnt work with your service, but not when service is intermittent. Stuff is either provisioned, or it isnt. Hope this helps answer your ?
