Root Purely Gingerbread ROMs

I apologize for posting a thread so soon after just posting one, lol. I had some more questions.
1) What are the purely Gingerbread ROMs out there? (Stock gingerbread - no overlays like sense, touchwiz, or motoblur)
2) How recently were they updated?
3) What launcher is the base? (i.e. I know CM7 uses ADW launcher)

Deck's is considered by most as the most stable AOSP gingerbread rom (brent will tell you to use version 1.3d). It's the most recently updated, and uses Launcher2 (the stock gingerbread launcher). (It's basically CM7 optimized for the Evo ...all the non-evo stuff and ADW removed, etc).

Salvagemod is one that hasn't been updated in awhile, but I personally liked. It's not based on CM7, actually built off the pure AOSP source. It uses a modified version of Launcher2 with a few added features. But, since it's been so long since the devs have worked on it, it may not be what you want.
 
damn i keep forgetting about salvagemod. that was one i always wanted to try out. for some reason i never got around to trying it out.

Yeah, I actually really like it, and folks are still using it. I always go back to sense roms for GPS and signal, but I actually pulled the modded Launcher2 apk from the sky blue theme to use on senseless roms. :)
 
Yes I will recommend 1.3d! I'm actually getting bored with it and wanting to try something else. Having a fully functional rom where everything works perfectly is apparently not good enough for me :)

If you want pure, unadulterated gingerbread, OMGB is the way to go. OMFGB has some mods to it, so OMGB is what you want if you want complete stock.
 
I'm looking at OMGB since it's not based on CM7. Another question (I'm feeling very inquisitive today, lol) what is the difference between CM7 (aside from the ADW launcher) and pure GB launcher?
 
I just flashed OMGB rom and set it up and noticed there was no native screen shot or hold the power button and it's there in the menu like it is in CM7 roms. Is there a way to push native screenshot to the ROM or no? I have ScreenShot It installed but I don't like it since I actually started flashing roms that have the screenshot capabilities mentioned above. Any help? :) Thanks

Theres a fix for sense based ROMS that consists of replacing a few files to get native screenshot. However, I don't believe that works for AOSP ROMS
 
Hi it's me again, lol. Is there a purely senseless gingerbread ROM with screen capture like it is on CM7? Without it being CM7 based?
