Using the activate app would require flashing Harmonia or Bumblebee, or Stock ROM as the Gingerbread ports don't have this app on phone.

And I highly doubt it is an activation problem. I realize some say it fixes everything, but I have never had to do it on either phone I maintain beyond the first.

It does actually work for a lot of problems. In this case I would try a fresh install of the currently installed ROM.

I activated my phone once ten months ago, and haven't needed to since. I've flashed probably a dozen different ROMs since then. Just saying.

Not all "V"s and there processor are created exactly, 100% alike. This is why one "v" can be safely overclocked to 864 MHz, and another only to say, 787
This is also the reason why some things work flawlessly on one "V" and not the other.

I always wondered about that.... thanks for clarifying for me!!

But tell me, am I just getting old and suffering from CRS, or didn't I read somewhere that all those issues that are fixed with the Activation app added as fixes already in Jerry's rom?
