Help Push Notifications Problem?

I'm coming from a d1 where all of my e-mails were pushed instantly to my phone without a problem. I'm noticing on my TB it doesn't seem to be getting the e-mails as quickly and seems to skip some notifications all together. Has anyone else noticed this? All my accounts are synced correctly but I am new to HTC and Sense (not sure if that is an issue). anyone else experiencing the same issue? Thanks in advance.
 
I'm using the gmail app and I've noticed this as well. I'm familiar with HTC and had no issues with gmail on my Inc. I think I'm going to go into apps and clear gmail's cache and data and see if that helps. It used to work on my Inc when I had issues. OP, try it out and see if it helps

I'm not sure what that is but i can guess its some battery saver app, nope not using that or atk

Well cleared the cache and restarted the phone, sent a test e-mail to myself and it took about 30 seconds for my TB to receive....not terrible but my D1 would have been on that e-mail in about 5 seconds or less. I then cleared that e-mail from my notification bar and the gmail app and sent another test, after about 2 minutes I still didn't receive a notification so I went to the gmail app and had to refresh it twice and it finally showed up.
 
Seems to work a little faster with wifi turned off for some reason and hasn't skipped a notification so far. But still wtf..
 
I'm still having issues after clearing cache/data. My notifications aren't working and the emails aren't instant by any means
 
i'm having the same problem. notifications for email are sent way late, and i never get facebook notifications. what am i doing wrong?:confused:
 
This is odd. I am not having this issue at all. Get them within seconds of PC.

Not sure what to tell you guys. Maybe stop and start sync again?
 
Well I fixed it with a battery pull, When I was at the Verizon store the mgr. showed me a memo from tech support telling the stores to do battery and sim card pulls if something wasn't operating correctly. Oy this reminds me of Blackberry now.
