Push to talk Hero

man this app is just so cool to be true.... I hope they will release a paid with no ads :) i will def pay for it...

It uses the data, not the IDEN network.

maybe someone else can confirm whether or not it will work cross platform (motorola IDEN(data) to android data?)
 
So the Mrs. and I got around to trying this tonight. Wow! Super cool. Pretty darned fast too. If there's little to no battery drain this is most definitely a keeper. Thanks again for the heads up.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't. It seems that it requires both users to have the app open. Only thing I'm not sure about is if it works across platform..
 
haha +2...i feel if i had friends with android phones, or a wife, i could use a sweet sounding app...shoulda kept that girl...from getting a pixi
 
Tried it with my hero and the wifes moment, no workie. Kept saying user isn't a member text to have them install. Kept force closing on her end. Oh well

I have a Hero and my wife has the Moment and we use it with no problems.
 
Have you guys tried TiKl with an Evo from your Hero? My voice on the Hero sounds clear and without breaks but the Evo transmission breaks and sound quality is really bad!
 
I was about to recommend this app. I see someone already did and I agree, it is an awesome app. I've been using it about 2 weeks and it works awesome. I put it on my wife's phone and a friend from church. As was mentioned before, to this point I have seen no adverse affects on my battery. Awesome app that I highly recommend.

Someone asked if it worked with android 1.5 and the answer is yes. My wife is still on 1.5 with her hero. Well I suppose Hero has a modified 1.5, but my guess is it should work on pure 1.5.
