And just one lil piece of advice DO NOT ROOT YOURE PHONE WITHOUT HAVING A CUSROM RECOVERY! I've made that mistake towel rooting my old LG L70

Yeah must admit I rooted my phone with Kingroot (then used an app to transfer it to SuperSU and get rid of the Chinese crap) purely because I don't have access to a pc to unlock bootloader, flash custom recovery but I'm ugly enough to know what risks to take and not take with a non backed up rooted device and defo wouldn't recommend it to a complete noob (although it keeps us busy lol)

Lol Totally agree with the article other than maybe them saying that we "don't own" certain files in our phone.. I can see a DRM comparison but surely buying a phone is like buying a DVD?
I also agree with his "unlock bootloader token" when a phone is fully payed off (or bought outright) idea
