Root Q about Titanium backup & Handcent

So last time I switched roms, I finally decided to use Titanium backup first, and back everything up. I did the "backup all user apps + system Data" option.

Wiped everything clean and then installed my new rom. Then I restored the apps I wanted, along with their data.

Everything worked fine, except for Handcent.

The app restored fine, but all my texts were gone
I went back into Titanium backup, and tried to tell it to restore handcent's data, but nothing would get my txt messages back.

Is there a trick to this? Am I doing it wrong?

the same thing happens to me every time....then afte 1-4 days, they just show up.

1) SMS messages are not stored as any part of handcent. They are stored as a part of system data, which *should* be included if you restored that. A lot of people have had this issue. I went through it once, and a reboot brought up all my texts.

2) Use SMS Backup & Restore from now on. Don't rely on titanium backup for SMS messages.
