Root Q w/ hopefully a simple A...

I just want to make sure I'm thinking right with this before I do it.
If I flash the 2.3.15 SBF, I should be able to restore any of my nandroids from 2.3.15 after, right?
Or do I have to de-odex my phone before I restore a de-odexed nandroid?

if you flash the sbf back to 2.3.15. Just root your phone and restore your backups! You're good to go!

thanks. yeah I know to root it again. I just wanted to make sure I could be odexed (stock 2.3.15) and restore a de-odexed backup without running into a problem. or if I have to de-odex it BEFORE I restore a de-odexed backup.

My thinking is that I dont have to de-odex it first since the nandroid replaces all of those files, but I figured it was better to ask others first.
Ive only ever restored de-odexed backups from an already de-odexed platform

I also want to make sure I am doing this correctly before I try. I rooted and removed apps so I can't do the update when it comes. I want to SBF back to 2.3.15. I watched videos on SBF and feel I understand how to do it. I have read that certain combination of things can cause problems so I thought I would list exactly what I will be doing to make sure I won't have a problem.

I have RSD light v4.9 Multi-flash / Multi-Flex
I verified that my bootloader is 30.03
I have the 2.3.15 verizon SBF file
I am currently on the stock version of 2.2 with bootsrap and milestone overclock
I will be doing this off of a win 7 64 bit machine
I backed up all my apps with titanium backup
I did a clockwork backup for... well.. don't know why exactly. Just for the heck of it
I downloaded the Z4root APK so I can easily root again (but won't remove anthing this time).

Anything else I should do before I start this?

Sorry ECF, I hope you got your answer before I hijacked the thread
