Root qhsusbdload driver and bootloader flash tool for 8660

i seemed to have bricked my phone,it appears to be totally dead. i thought it was a gonner fer sure,but when i plugged it into my computer it called for the qhsusb dload driver.maybe its not completely dead. i could not find this driver for the motion. a few links led me to a qualcom qhsusb driverand a bootloader flash tool for the 8660. i installed the driver. now when i plug my phone into my computer it loads the qhsusb driver 9008 i believe its called. my computer shows the connection in ports and com list in my device manager winxp. the tool comes with a hex file and a bin file for the 8660. the flash tool has zeros on all the buttons. its a weird setup. i looked at a picture that came with it, its a picture of a forum thread,its in chinese i think.it looks like a forum like ours but originates in china(google translate says its chinese) now i have no clue if this would work if i had our bootloader to flash with the tool. but i do know my computer loads the driver http://https://www.dropbox.com/s/1b3axro2q6kv8fk/Qualcomm.rar

i had a swap enabling program. i set the app to swap to block 1 partition 3 but i think it reset to default which is block 0.so everything was perfect till i rebooted. turned phone on and seemed completely dead.thats the only thing i can think of, i must have wrote in boot or firmware blck0 p2 or p3 i guess.other than that swap works great with stock kernel and rom. i use swap on my other motion .i would like to run a version of linux on one of my motions and thought memory could use a little help
 
When i bricked my galaxy s2, that's the driver it asked for. Was also unable to be brought back from the dead.

hopefully its a different case with the motion!
 
So far i havent been able to obtain the bootloader files to try this flash tool.but talked to lg and was told i can send it in under warranty. I assume they simply reflash it. I only pay to ship it to them. Has anyone looked at this tool and files? I went to the forum using google translate.but didnt have much time. I wonder what firmare they have. Our phone seems to be 2.4 4.9and 5gig wifi capable. I have pittpatt facial reqoniticion software built in my os is but no app to use it. Theier firmware may allow a higher tx power rate also.
 
Last ditch effort to avoid sending my phone off. I called qualcom.the guy was very nice but woukd not release the driver. It would seem if that particular driver is obtained the phone will allow flashing. ............ I dont know why he wouldnt let me borrow the driver, i promised i would send it back as soon as i was done.
If the 8660 driver can be modified to communicate with the phone correctly???

Isn't driver software O.o anyways keep asking Qualcomm for it :)
 
it recognizes the high com port assigned by the qh usb in this chinese boot flashtool,it;; even manage to flash, i just dont have the bootloader ti flash
 
You got it to flash the lucid bootloader? I wonder if you can get into dl mode to use kdz tool. When i tried i got ( sending hello to phone) like 50 times untill it quit does anyone know the device pid for the motion. I found a bunch of qualcom hsusb files
 
Yes exactly. But if the drivrer and tool work to flash the motion files is ok. Does anybody know the device pid number i may have found more qualcom files but they are listed as pid numbers. Such as 9008, 9005, 1850 maybe our motion is there.

it was my understanding you were looking to fix your device, not flash devices bootloaders to try for an unlock. afaik hroark already went down the road of flashing various phones onto his device to see if he could get anything. unfortunately lg has been locking devices for a while now and the odds of getting one that is unlocked/unlockable is fairly slim.

with the next wave of chipsets hitting soon the chances drop from like very low percentage of getting an unlockable bootloader to very abysmal numbers. the issue you guys face regarding that is you need a device that gets unlocked, so far there hasnt bee a device that has gotten unlocked besides the nexus 4 (yea that includes the LG OG as all they did was just flash the bootloader from the n4 on it). im hoping the msm8960 stuff that leaked a bit ago comes to helping boot from sdcards which would help you guys out but that isnt any time soon... :/
 
Actually i am trying to fix a corrupted phone.i would be happy with stock loader and rom. My phone is basically dead .i had hoped to flash the stock biit files and all would be fine. So far this tool has the only driver that will reqonize my phone
