Help QSlide Apps

Hello, I got my LG Volt Sept 1st, and I noticed that the internet browser is not on my list for QSlide Apps on my phone. On Virgin Mobile's website it said it should be, and on LG's website it says it should be. However, after an hour on the phone with LG, and two factory resets later, they tell me the browser is not one of the apps available for the QSlide function on the LG Volt. What??? That is one of the most valuable apps to have to be able to minimize and move around. I would like to know if any other fellow Volt owners have the internet browser as an option in their QSlide Apps? Please let me know so I can know if LG is just trying to get out of helping me to get new phone fixed. Thank you.
 
umm.. i dont even know how to open up this Qslide by itself.
i have been able to play videos in an open window from Qslide while texting and such.
 
You can see your QSlide Apps by pulling down the menu from the top of your phone. If they are not there then you can turn them on by selecting QSlide from the sliding menu bar at the top of the screen. The edit is off to the right of both sections to make the QSlide option viewable if it's not already, and to view which apps are available.
 
Video, phone, file manager, calculator and calendar are all that's available.

I would just disable it and download another app to provide the feature.

I see no reason why they would try to not help you fix a problem. That's bad customer service and a good way to get people to trash your rep
 
I have the LG Volt, I actually just recently bought it about a week before Christmas, I was having the same problem you are, and thank god I came across your post, before I went through all the trouble that you had to endure trying to figure this ish out. Because NO, I don't have the "internet" option either on my qslide list!! I was originally trying to figure out a way to change the apps I wanted to use in the qslide, and found out that was a bust, then I noticed it didn't even have a browser/internet option yet it had EMAIL? so I was trying to put internet onto the slide and then came across your post...

So basically, qslide is USELESS for all LG Volt owners.

Now I'm on a mission to UNINSTALL this crappy app, and try to download Gravitybox, as Sands207 was saying... I'll report back with good or bad news on that one...

Download g2 tweaksbox and you have alot of options too [emoji3]
