Root quality and size

A while back I posted a 40mbps mod and I still use it. Only difference is now I have it set to 20mbps because the massive file sizes the 40mbps was giving. However...now that I'm use the same mod...just now set using 20 instead of 40mbps the file sizes are still huge..not as bad..but still bad. Example: a 5:05 file is 511Mb @20Mbps. I tried a lower setting like 8mbps and noticed an occasional grain/noise when moving fast in sunlit outdoors. Saved size...but semi-sacrificed quality. 20Mbps is not really noticeable to the 40mbps in quality that I seen of so that's why I switched. Anyway my question (May be dumb...lol) is... is there a way or another mod or something that will allow me to keep superb quality with no deadly file size?

what mod is this? i'm not aware of what you are talking about. do you have a link?

yeah i found a few camera mods but nothing that keeps file size down as the quality goes up. i'm not sure how you can keep the file size down to a min when you upgrade the quality. maybe it is time to upgrade your card so you do not have to worry about file size.........just a thought.

I don't know much about your camera issue. But if you're looking into getting a new sd card, 32GB micro sd cards on Ebay are only $15 with shipping. Not a bad deal at all.

I have a 32gb PVC r something...lol class 10...Max this cell can hold. I kinda figured that there was no work around...but I thought I'd ask. if ya want better quaily..it takes more space...it is Wut it is I guess.

Note the 64 in the label - I'm using the SanDisk from an Amazon sale.

Way. :)

The onboard storage is called eMMC, long story short, it's the same as a flash card and the phone has only one memory controller for both, so it all comes down to that component and wiring, which turns out to be plenty capable.

I imagine any brand would do, but I personally caution to buy from vendors where you can return it. Lot of counterfeit cards out there, especially on eBay.

If you see SDXC UHS-1 rather than class 10, you're good to go. It's the new high speed spec and the one I'm using. Note that I get under class 10 performance, that's not uncommon in the real world, but I'm still running plenty fast.
