Question about Cell/Network Bands -T-mo & T989

Trying to learn more about this phone (so far pretty impressed) and the bands it uses.
I searched and found this for the T989:

WCDMA / HSPA+ 42 (3G / 4G)
850 Cellular / band 5 (V) Americas, Oceania, Brazil, Israel
1700 AWS / band 4 (IV) Americas
1900 PCS / band 2 (II) Americas
2100 IMT / band 1 (I) Europe, Asia, Africa, Oceania, Brazil, India, Israel

GSM (2G)
850 Cellular Americas, Oceania, Brazil, Israel
900 Europe, Asia, Africa
1800 DCS Europe, Asia, Africa
1900 PCS Americas

So as I understand it, the T989 is 'capable' of all of these, but what does T-mo actually use and does the UVLH1 radio use all of these? would flashing a different radio unlock additional bands on T-mo? (such as the Telus radios).

Thanks!

T-Mobile's 3/4G operates on the 1700/2100 bands. That's why you would only get edge speeds using a Galaxy S2 International, or any other International phone. They don't have the 1700 band. I think in the future they will also be using the 1900 band for 4G and LTE, but don't quote me on that.

Flashing a different radio won't change the operating frequency. Although, flashing a different radio may help get a better signal. I know some people reported better data rates using the Note 2 radio. I couldn't really tell any difference.

So I get HSPA & HSPA+ [3G] on 1700
1900 is probably going to be LTE/4G (no confirmation)
2100 is international 3G? (if you had an international phone/sim to use it).
850 is edge?

For 4G Tmo uses 1700 and 2100. I think edge is 850 yes.
